Concert Schedule

The Lumber River Regional Bluegrass Association (LRRBA) was founded for the purpose of fostering and keeping alive the bluegrass traditions of our country.  The goal of its members is not only to play the music but also to educate both young and old about the rich heritage of the music.  We encourage anyone that has an interest in the music to attend one of the monthly concerts presented by LRRBA.  Our goal is for family entertainment Drugs and alcohol are not permitted at the concerts.  The performers at these concerts are either regionally or nationally known groups.

Some members of the association also get together each Sunday afternoon for a jam session at the River Way Community Center in Lumberton, NC.  Pickers and listeners start arriving around 3:00 PM.  The jam session runs for a couple of hours, and it is a great time to pick up pointers from some of the pickers.  Everyone is welcome, players and non-players. Our pickers are always ready to help young or inexperienced players with tips and to show them tricks of the art in playing their instruments.  COME JOIN US!
